We had a BUSY day of creating art at The Studio yesterday. We started with our regular adult class in the morning followed by two groups of kids from Front Royal Christian School that painted the “Patriotic Park”.
Then our regular Wednesday Kid’s Class came in followed by the evening Adult Art Class. Whew!!!!!! A long day but a lot of happy artists. 🙂
Last night our painters re-created this beautiful Manet painting of the Red and Yellow Roses. And they did a fabulous job! Good work everyone.
Yesterday the Art Campers (ages 5-7) painted like Vincent Van Gogh. And what a terrific job they did.
We had a large group painting at the Harry Potter Paint Party yesterday afternoon. Super!
We went to the Beach yesterday — well, not really. But we did paint a beach scene at Sarah’s Birthday Paint Party at The Studio. And it was so much fun! Great job girls. They look great!!!
We painted last night at The Studio to raise money for the Humane Society of Warren County. A great bunch of ladies came out to help and painted a beautiful Robin’s Nest. Great job!
We finished this session of Art Camp with a large painting of Monet’s Garden with the Japanese Bridge. Lovely!
Yesterday we continued Art Camp and studied Edgar Degas “The Jockey”. The kids did a terrific job on this difficult painting.
Then in the afternoon we had our regular weekly kids art class where we painted ice cream cones. It made us all hungry! Great work everyone….
We started the 2nd week of Art Camp studying Edouard Manet and painting his Yellow Rose. These kids did a GREAT job with this one. First we created our own color wheels and talked about color mixing and that allowed us to get a good idea of how to make our paintings look like Manet’s. Today we study Monet.
