Special Paint Party

We often do private Paint Parties and I love to do them but from time to time I can’t make my schedule work with the client’s request.  This week, luckily, we were able to work it out so that I could provide a guest teacher for the Paint Party at Virginia Hills Church.  Thanks Debbie Ray for teaching and Melissa Reploeg for inviting The Studio to lead your event.  I loved seeing y’alls photos.  It looks like it was so much fun!

Kids Ready for Fall

20190926_070205.jpgYesterday the kids had a rare treat….we painted big Pumpkin Door Hangers instead of a canvas.  These were NICE!  And the kids did an awesome job.  Lincoln was so impressed that he photo bombed their class photo.  Kids class is every Wednesday at 4:15-5:15 pm.  If you have a young painter that is interested contact kwalker@thestudioforlearning.com .

Bob Says…

 

The beauty of Bob Ross was that he made you feel like you could paint….even if you had never touched a brush.  His encouraging words have helped so many people over the years become painters…including me.  At the exhibit in Purcellville at the Franklin Parks Art Center the paintings were displayed along with some of his sayings.  Here are a few.
