Dancing Cranes

We will paint the Dancing Cranes on Friday, March 31st at 6 pm. Click here to register. There are several that we are doing that can work as companion pieces for a grouping or you can select just your favorite. The Flamingo painting is already sold out but if there are enough people interested in doing it we will add another session. Just let Kelly know if you are interested….and watch for the Pelican and Seagull paintings coming in the next few months.

While the quilters were working on their Gingham Heart quilts at the workshop this Sunday I worked on these little Blackbird blocks. I am playing with an idea for a new quilt. Who knows where it might go! 🙂

A New Entrance Sign

Birthday Boy Easton (sitting to the right of Lincoln) held his birthday party at The Studio yesterday evening. He asked to paint a wolf. And paint they did! Nice work from a very enthusiastic group of young painters. Happy Birthday Easton!

A new session of Art Camp started yesterday and our theme is “For the Love of Animals”. And since yesterday was Lincoln’s adoption day we decided to paint him! Look at the beautiful works these young artists did in just two hour? Aren’t they fabulous???!!! We love them….and I think Lincoln enjoyed the attention! The fat squirrel finally got up enough courage to come get the fruit on the table because he is always afraid Lincoln will come running out to chase him, and what happens? A big Cardinal decides to decend on him and try to get some of his fruit. LOL
