20190801_171456.jpgSometimes I begin a painting and it gets set aside until I can get back to it…especially larger pieces.  That is what happened with The Window Sill.  I started this about 3 years ago after seeing a beautiful photo in Better Homes and Gardens of a blue green window sash and lovely flowers in a variety of pots and vases.  I found the canvas tucked away in the closet at The Studio when I was gathering canvases for the annual Anniversary sale (still underway) and decided to finish it.

20181103_214828.jpgWe had two terrific groups painting yesterday at The Studio.  Our first Saturday paint party (open to all) had us painting a beautiful Sunset scene.  And look at what an amazing job everyone did!!!

And then we had a private party to celebrate Katie’s 14th Birthday.  They painted amazing abstract style flowers.  Everyone got very creative and turned out these lovely pieces.  It was so much fun!
