Meet Lincoln. He is the newest addition to the Walker household. Jed was lonely all by himself so we started looking a few weeks ago for a new baby to bring home. After searching for a little girl, it turns out that Jed like boys better. 🙂
Lincoln (Abraham Lincoln Walker) formerly known as Griffon at our shelter, was a stray picked up by animal control. He was at our shelter, the Humane Society of Warren County, for about a month before we couldn’t resist and brought him home on Sunday. He and Jed have been playing very hard since then. It’s so nice that they play well together.
Tug of War is a really fun game. And now I don’t have to always be the one playing with Jed. Yeah!
Lincoln went to the vet on Tuesday for neutering. I know people have mixed feeling about this but I think it is the responsible thing to do unless you have show dogs. He seems none the worse for it. The problem is keeping him from playing too much until he is healed.
We think he is about 1-2 years old so we split the difference and are saying he’s one and a half. And boy he is still a puppy! Hopefully that will calm down soon. Wish us luck.
Congrats on your new family member! Thank you for rescueing another terrier in need.
Thank you for giving him a Republican name. I would have died if you had named him Barack. (sounds like clearing of the throat)
May the Gods smile upon you and your family.
Come see our 25 babies.

Congratulations on the new family member! He’s adorable. I’m sure Jed likes having a baby brother. Did the vet have any guesses what breed(s) he might be? I agree with the person that said he must have some terrier. I wholeheartedly agree with you about spay and neuter. There are too many critters with no loving home. He’ll make a great painting.
Precious! And I love the name!
Aw, congratulations!!! He’s adorable. Looks like he has some terrier in him. 🙂 He’s very cute.
