Barbara contacted me several weeks ago to see if I would set up a private party the day after Thanksgiving for her family and friends. Of course I would! I love private parties and it’s a wonderful way to spend time with family and friends and they get to take something home with them to remember the time spent together for a long time to come. Everyone had so much fun and were so supportive of one another. They did a fabulous job painting this winter barn scene. Great work everyone! I hope we get to paint together again soon. If you would like to set a party for your family and friends contact kwalker@kellywalkerstudios.com.

There are a few little details that I want to add….and Dianne wants us to put a little something in the field on the Summer panel…and I want to change the summer panel a bit so I’ll share it again when we finally do finish it. We’ll get to it as soon as Thanksgiving is over. We wanted to get it as far a possible so that Dianne could share it with her family tomorrow when they come to her home for Thanksgiving dinner. It was a BIG project. The wall is 26 feet long and the height is 8 feet. Did we mention it was a big project???!!!!

It would be hard to describe all the things we did, all the delicious food we ate, and all the laughs we had. I can’t remember when I laughed so much. We are all looking forward to the next one in April.

Dianne and I worked for 6 hours on the mural this weekend. We are getting very close now. She started painting frames around them while Lincoln supervised my touch-up and finals on the last panel. We still have a few more hours of detail work but it’s almost there.
