We painted one of our most challenging images last night at Turnmeyer Galleries from one of Scott Turnmeyer’s beautiful photos. And everyone stepped up to the challenge and did fabulous work! Very nice ladies!!! Now on to the Gazebo painting in February. Click here to register for it.

We had a small, brave group painting like Cezanne last night. While these look difficult they really are just a little more challenging….and we always learn so much when we push ourselves to do these famous paintings. Great work everyone! Just beautiful.

Making Vases

We made amazing vases last yesterday at The Studio under the expert direction of Denise Kupiszewski from The Mud Peddler Studio in Shepherdstown. Everyone was so creative and they all turned out terrific. Can’t wait to see them glazed!

Impossible Coconut Pie

From time to time I get the urge to bake. Recently I was craving coconut and my favorite coconut pie is also the easiest to make. I’ve had this “Impossible Coconut Pie” recipe for years and don’t even remember where I first got it. But it is easy…and so delicious. Give it a try. (The photo above is how it look before it goes into the oven and the photo below is how it looks after it’s done.)
Added Rag Quilt Class

We added an additional Heart Rag Quilt class since the one on February 8th SOLD OUT. The next one will be Sunday February 2nd at 1 pm…and you can choose from one of three Heart designs…a large heart or one with a cat or dog.
