We had a nice afternoon at The Studio yesterday working with this group of Girl Scouts as we helped them with a mixed media and drawing project so they could achieve their Drawing Badge. Nice work by everyone with these paper, paint and bead paintings.

The kids created these AWESOME paper collage cats in class over the past two weeks. It was a big project and they did GREAT!!! But Lincoln refused to be seen with so many “cats”! LOL

Wilma came by The Studio yesterday and worked up this beautiful heart paper painting. Nice work! We had another terrific paint party at Capon Springs this week and everyone created beautiful bird houses with clematis. I love that everyone is doing such nice work here. What a fun time it has been…..painting, tearing paper, singing together, dancing around, making new friends….all while creating beautiful art! It has been my pleasure to work with this amazing group!

We have weekly art classes for adults every Wednesday at 10:30-Noon or 5:30-7 pm or on Thursdays from 2-3:30. Each painter chooses their own subject matter and gets individual help.
