I’ve written before about my student, Dianne, who brings her out of town friends to The Studio when they visit so they can paint a memory to take home. (See more here.) Here’s Tilly!!!! She’s our favorite 91 year old student. She completed these two paintings over the past couple of weeks. Isn’t she adorable???!!! We love her…and next month we will help her celebrate her 92nd birthday. Can you believe that?!

Yesterday our group painted some amazing Pet Portraits. Just look at them!!!! And we had such a great time with families and friends painting together. Pet Portraits are our favorites. My weekly art student, Dianne (on the left), always brings her out of town visitors to The Studio to paint a local view so that her guests will have a beautiful reminder of the trip. It’s not only the image but also the memory of painting together at The Studio that these guests enjoy. This friend, Agnes (on the right) is visiting from Paris, France. It was a delight working with her and she did an amazing job!

Here’s Miss Tilly, our favorite 91 year old student, who painted this large canvas of day lilys over the past couple of weeks at class. She reminded me that she has a birthday coming up soon and she’ll be 92! We just love her!!!
