While working on a design for a Paint Party I had a little help. Little Gem was staying with me for a day and night while her people were away so she went to The Studio and helped me paint. And since Gem did such a great job on this one we named it for her. Now you can come paint Gem’s Bee Box too. Click here and join us on April 19th.

Janice is a very good painter who attends the Wednesday Morning Adult Art Class and does some lovely work from photos of family and friends. Recently she did this beautiful piece of the view from her porch in winter. It’s fabulous. Nice work Janice!

This weekend I blogged about my niece Morgan who had her senior art show in Savannah. She has the most amazing imagination and is working on developing a story and history of an alien species. It’s fascinating how she comes up with this stuff. As she is finishing school she is working on more marketable ideas for now and one is these adorable Pet Portraits. (Like Aunt, like Niece! LOL) I love them. I hope you all will too as she will soon have her site up and running and will be taking orders. They are very affordable and will make terrific gifts. I can’t wait to get one of Lincoln and Jed! Here is a sample of her cat and dog, Tidbit and Duffy.

My niece Morgan is graduating soon as a Graphic Arts major. She has an amazing imagination. I flew to Savannah yesterday to see her art show. She and three of her fellow students had a show with art representing their work from their years at college. It was all amazing. Everyone had a different story and different style and it was great to see. Morgan is very much into developing characters for a graphic novel. Her back stories for the characters are great fun. Here is some of her work…and some photos of the family getting together for her event. Congratulations Morgan. It was a great evening.
