Here’s Miss Tilly, our favorite 91 year old student, who painted this large canvas of day lilys over the past couple of weeks at class. She reminded me that she has a birthday coming up soon and she’ll be 92! We just love her!!! I finally finished the Super Nova quilt. It took a while to piece and even longer to quilt. But I really love it….and so does Lincoln! He couldn’t wait to jump up on check it out.

Just look at these amazing Barn Quilts created by this group of quilters from a West Virginia Quilt Guild that meets in Kearneysville, WV. They worked yesterday afternoon on wood instead of fabric but in either medium they make beautiful things! Nice work everyone. That was fun.

This is our 4th group of quilters who have taken on the challenge of the Sampler Quilt. They are doing a great job. Yesterday they did a double session to catch up on a month we missed. Nice work ladies! Can’t wait to see it all together.
