Weekly Art Classes

Take a look at Joy’s awesome giraffe painting. She has been working on some gift for friends and family. Joy attends the Wednesday morning weekly art class and has for some time now. Weekly classes are so much fun because each student chooses the subject of their choice and we help them achieve their goal with that painting and their art. These classes are for the absolute beginner to advanced students. All are welcome. We have classes every week for adults on Wednesday at 10:30-Noon or 5:30-7 pm or on Thursdays from 2-3:30. You can join at any time. Just contact Kelly at kwalker@kellywalkerstudios.com if you are interested. Classes are $20 per session if you pay by the month or $25 if you just want to drop in from time to time. You can do it. The only requirement to learn to paint or to improve your skills is the desire to do it!

And frankly, The Studio could use your HELP! Please consider booking a party between now and the end of the year to help us keep us going. This year has been especially tough and we would appreciate the support. So contact Kelly now. All days are available except Wednesdays. We can do morning, afternoon or evening events. Pick a date and contact kwalker@kellywalkerstudios.com to put it on the calendar. Then gather a few friends and select and image. It can be anything….and with the holidays coming we have some fun holiday images. And those who organize the event will get a gift certificate toward a Paint Party in 2021! Plan some fun today! Thanks.

This has been the longest break I have ever taken from the Life of a Daily Painter blog. I had knee replacement 12 days ago and this one was a little tougher than the one I had four years ago on the other knee. But I’m up and going. Heading back to class this morning and hoping that I have the stamina to get through it. I know that slow and easy wins this race but when you are self-employed you don’t get the luxury of going too slow. So wish me luck as I head back to work. Lincoln has to sit today out which will not make him happy but he’ll be able to join me soon. Thanks for all the well wishes. It’s not pretty but I’m getting there!!!
