Sunflowers from Clover Hill Farm

I recently drove out to The Farm at Clover Hill....a great little a new flower farm offering beautiful cut flowers. You can cut your own or they will cut for you. And the flowers are gorgeous. I am hoping to have a paint class out there soon……maybe when it cools off a little outside. Be sure to check them out and go cut some flowers soon. I got some lovely sunflowers that I created this painting using as reference and also some zinnias that I hope to paint today.

A Birthday Party

What a fun family birthday party at The Studio yesterday. Rylee’s 12th Birthday was a blast as we painted sunflowers. She has been one of my summer art camp kids and she and her friends showed off their skills to the rest of the family. Such lovely work!!! Woodbine Sunflowers

I enjoyed the drive over to Woodbine Farm Market a few weeks ago. The sunflowers were so pretty as was the view. Since so many people locally have enjoyed the sunflowers this year this might be a great one to paint at a party. See photos from the visit here.

Van Gogh Sunflowers at Camp

Family Paint Session II
