(Tomorrow I will share more photos from the wonderful museums I visited while on vacation. So much good stuff to share.)
An amazing exhibition of John Singer Sargeant ‘s portraits of friends, other artists, and family. Many that I had not seen as they are in private collections. Here are two nice and unusual ones.
We saw a fascinating sculpture exhibit of Picasso ‘s work at MOMA. It is described as ” the least familiar of Pablo Picasso’s work. It occupies the entire fourth floor of the museum and features more than 150 sculptures organized chronologically. It aims to advance the understanding of what sculpture was for Picasso and how he revolutionized its history through a lifelong commitment to constant reinvention. ”
We spent some time at The Museum of Modern Art yestetday enjoying some of Andy Warhol’s work.
Sophia learned to work with a palette knife at her lesson yesterday. She turned out a really cool painting!
