I wanted to catch you up on what Sophia and Joey ave been working on lately. We painted the Super Moon, created a Rudolph, and a Snowman. We’ve had fun the last few weeks. I think the Reindeer was their fav.

The kids painted Pumpkin Pie at class yesterday in preparation for Thanksgiving Dinner! Great work everyone!!! That’s a LOT of pie.
The past two days there has been Drawing Camp going on at The Studio. Thanks Chips Lickson for holding classes there. I am sure everyone learned loads of things to practice in coming days to become a better artist. (Many thanks to Ruth Wahl for the photos and for her help with The Studio while I was away.)
Yesterday was the last day of Art Camp for this summer. We had a fabulous group of painters who created amazing paintings. Great job everyone!
And yesterday the girls painted this O’Keeffe Calla Lily. Isn’t it beautiful??!!
Yesterday at Camp we studied Pissaro and recreated a lovely painting that he did in 1894 called Windmill at Knokke, Belgium. And these young painters did a terrific job with it. Take a look!
Yesterday we studied Cezanne at Art Camp and painted Apples & Pear, a still life, just like Cezanne’s. And these kids are AMAZING! Look at what a great job they all did.
And when we had a few extra minutes at the end of Monday and Tuesdays sessions we put it to good use and created a collage painting of this little bird. Beautiful!
We studied Georgia O’Keeffe at Art Camp yesterday and recreated the beautiful Red Barn that she painted in 1928. They look GREAT! Nice work painters.
