Miracle Kid Noelle

The Studio sponsored a fundraiser for Miracle Kid Noelle on Saturday night. And boy, did we have a good time. We had a terrific turn-out and created some lovely paintings. You can learn more about Noelle here. I met her last summer when she attended art camp. She loved painting! What’s not to love?! And she shares my love of Bob Ross. LOL! We are wishing only good things for this young painter.

Last night at our Adult’s Art Class we all decided to get loose and paint abstracts. Thanks Marie for the push! It was great fun. We watched a short Bobblast video for inspiration…we love Bob Burridge! And off we went, painting away. This is my Big Bird…. a representational abstract piece. It was fun!

Knit with Sandra

The Beginning Knitting I class ended yesterday and the students made some beautiful scarves. Nice work everyone! If you know a little about knitting but want to know more Sandra’s Beginning Knitting II class is coming up on March 4th and 11th. You will learn to knit and purl at this one. You can register here. 10 Year Anniversary of Blog

Ten years ago today I started my blog, Life of a Daily Painter. Hard to believe it’s been 10 years. Last year for the anniversary post I share a look back. (See that here.) This year I just want to say how grateful I am to have people still following along to see what we are doing at The Studio. The boys and I thank you so much! Let’s see what this next year brings.

It was an interesting exhibit as we saw the way his art transformed over the years.

While in NYC this week we went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and caught a special exhibit of David Hockney’s work and it was interesting to see the transformation over the years.
