Knit and Crochet

The Beginning Knitting I class ended yesterday and the students made some beautiful scarves.  Nice work everyone!  If you know a little about knitting but want to know more Sandra’s Beginning Knitting II class is coming up on March 4th and 11th.  You will learn to knit and purl at this one.  You can register here.  Sandra is a patient and experienced teacher.  Come learn more about knitting at The Studio. We will learn this new scarf with more stitches at the next class.

It’s getting cooler outside and it’s time to get out the indoor crafts and hobbies and that includes all types of needlework.  If you haven’t learned to Crochet, Knit or Embroidery  (or if you need to brush-up on your skills) you are in luck.  We have beginning classes coming up this month.  Beginning Crochet class is Tuesday, October 25th.  Beginning Knitting is Thursday, October 27th and Embroidery is Sunday October 30th.  Just click on the one you are interested in taking for more information and to register.

You know there is nothing worse than being rained or snowed in without something to do  so come on and learn to make some cool  projects.  Plus the holidays will be here in no time and handmade gifts are best.  Time to get started.

Readying for Fall

knit-scarf-sandrasIt’s time to start thinking of Fall and all the cool weather settling in.  That means it’s time for more indoor hobbies like crocheting, knitting, embroidery and quilting.  Interestingly, I just read this article about how these hobbies can have an impact on your health.  Take a look here.
