Another Family Affair

Our family that paints together returned yesterday to paint again before the kids head back to Kentucky. They had a productive visit with their grandmother as they came three times to The Studio to paint some lovely works of art. Yesterday they created these beauties. It’s World Series time. The game last night was great. Watching it made me think of the paintings I did for the Kickstarter project a few years ago – Painted Diamonds. I painted all 30 Major League Ballparks in 30 weeks. You can see and read more about that here.

Baseball season has started and this year it feels really strange not to be painting the MLB parks like I was doing last year all during the season. My Kickstarter project – Painted Diamonds was a lot of fun but kept me busy for 6 months painting those parks. (Read all about it and see the paintings here.)
