After a particularly long and ugly week I wanted to share the beautiful little town we live in…where there are many lovely people. This is a scene that Lincoln and I see as we walk downtown in the mornings. It’s enchanting. We want to remember the nice parts and let the rest go for now….

Garden Princess Makeover

I brought my Garden Princess in for a make-over. She’s looking better. (You can read about her creation here.) I didn’t take her in over the winter so she was a little worn but now she’s good as new. And since we have an upcoming workshop for making these cuties I wanted her to look her best. Why don’t you join us on Saturday, June 22nd at 2 pm to make one for your flower or vegetable garden. They add a splash of color and whimsey to every garden. Click here to learn more and register.

We used palette knives to paint these beautiful apple blossoms over the last week or so with our international students. We found that painting with a palette knife is harder than it looks. Nice work ladies.
