After a particularly long and ugly week I wanted to share the beautiful little town we live in…where there are many lovely people. This is a scene that Lincoln and I see as we walk downtown in the mornings. It’s enchanting. We want to remember the nice parts and let the rest go for now….

Our little Art Campers painted the Gazebo yesterday. Beautiful!
And I have to share a little story from yesterday. When the little painters come in I always ask them if everyone liked their paintings from the day before. This is the response I got from one little girl, “My Mom was freaking loving it”!
I freaking love that! 🙂

It’s About the Snow

Some days it’s about the snow. The last several days there has been snow on the ground and frigid cold weather. Yesterday the thermometer said 1 degree when I got up. This morning it’s 7! We often experience cold weather here in Virginia in the winter time but not cold like this. It makes it difficult to do anything outside. But I ventured out to take a few snow photos for reference. Here are a couple from downtown.
Stay safe and warm.
