My two favorite people to paint with at Capon Springs Art Retreat are Peggy and Chris…the mother-son duo who attend all the retreats and create some terrific art. I look forward to seeing them each time we go to Capon. Peggy does fun paintings each time and Chris always does something different. This time he created some gorgeous landscapes on multiple canvases. I love how their work turns out! Great work guys. Looking forward to seeing and painting with you both again soon.

We had a lot of fun and laughs last night at the Paint Party at Capon Springs. It is so great to see family and friends painting together. Beautifully done everyone!!!

The kids came back to paint again along with some others yesterday morning. They all did great work! Several others started paintings and will finish today. More photos to come. Plus we had a really nice Paint Party last night. Check that out in the next post.

We kicked off the Capon Springs Art Retreat with some enthusiastic young painters. They have to leave this morning so they wanted to get a painting in last night….and they did! Great job guys!!!! Hope we get to paint together again soon.

We are having so much fun with family and friends painting together at Capon Springs Resort this week. If you didn’t make it you are missing out on so much fun!!!! We will hopefully have out 2022 dates soon so you can put it on your calendars and plan to join us to learn to paint or come to improve your painting skills. It’s a great place to relax and learn!

What a great night of painting at Capon Springs and Farms for the beginning of our 6th Art Retreat. We LOVE it here! And everyone loves painting at Capon. Last night we had 13 painters give the Fall Barn a whirl. We had to take a break for BINGO. (I won jam!) And then some brave painters came back and finished their paintings while others will finish this morning. It’s a great day when you paint until 11 at night!!!!

It’s time to plan your trip to Capon Springs Resort and Farm. We’ll be having two paint parties…one on Friday night and one on Sunday night. This is our 6th collaboration between Capon Springs and The Studio as we hold a Spring Artist Retreat from Friday, June 5th thru Tuesday, June 9th. You can come anytime from Friday through Tuesday and stay for one night or all four. The best part of coming is that the $125 per person per night includes 3 meals per day (homemade all you can eat comfort food, some from the farm), art instruction and all other resort activities (except for golf and spa services). You can bring your own art supplies and improve your skills as you paint along…or if you don’t have art supplies and you want to give it a try, we will have supplies available for a small supply fee* for the things you want to try. We had so much fun creating art at Capon Springs Farms and Resort this past week. Here are some wonderful acrylic and paper paintings. Very nice!
