We kicked off the Capon Springs Art Retreat with some enthusiastic young painters. They have to leave this morning so they wanted to get a painting in last night….and they did! Great job guys!!!! Hope we get to paint together again soon.

We had a large group of painters and a terrific fundraiser last night at The Studio for Southern Paws Virginia. The paintings looked great and we had a good time while helping a worthy cause. Thanks to everyone who participated. Check out the upcoming classes at The Studio and come join us soon.

At kids class yesterday they painted these evening landscapes with big moons. Lovely work by everyone! Can you believe they do this in just an hour???!!!! If you have a young artist that would like to paint with us contact kwalker@kellywalkerstudios.com to sign them up.

Moon Over Mountain I & II, acrylic, 8×10 or 9×12.

The Holiday Invitational continues at the Blue Ridge Arts Council on Main Street in Front Royal.  The show features work by two teachers, Terri Nicholson and myself.

The paintings are demonstration paintings from the many classes we have taught over the last few years and they are very affordable.  Consider giving art as a gift this year.  Stop by and see the show.
