Pumpkins Rag Quilt

Remember last week when I said I was working on a new rag quilt design? (See that here.) Well, here it is….a new pumpkin/fall design. This one is made from 80 squares. It took a little time since there are so many squares so it may be difficult to do as a class…..but maybe a full day workshop at The Studio could cover it or I have another design with just one large pumpkin that might be better for a class. What do you think?

Working on New Rag Quilt Designs

The last few days we’ve been working on some new Rag Quilt designs for classes. PUMPKINS for all you lovers of Fall! If you want to learn to sew this is a great way. Take the beginning Rag Quilt class so you will have some experience with the machine and sewing and then you will be ready to try some more advanced designs coming up this fall. The next beginners class is Saturday, September 25th for adults and Sunday, September 26th for kids. Click here to see more of what is happening at The Studio and to register.

Classes Resume…

Weekly art classes have resumed at The Studio. Look at this cool tray that Sarah found at Big Lots and painted her pumpkins on it. What a great piece! Join us for class on Wednesday at 10:30-Noon or 5:30-7 pm, or Thursday from 2-3:30 pm. And kid’s classes will begin again on November 4th at 4:15-5:15 pm. Fall is almost upon us so at The Studio yesterday we sewed up these cute pumpkin coasters and acorn trivets. Aren’t they cute?! Nice work everyone. I didn’t get a photo of Wilma and Lynne’s finished ones but here they are hard at work!
