Barn Quilts are beautiful. They have been around for hundreds of years. In the past, farmers used different types of folk-art including quilt-like blocks to decorate their barns. People chose blocks to reflect particular meanings. They have had a resurgence in the last 20 years with many states offering Barn Quilt Trails or Tours. A barn quilt can be hung on the exterior of your barn, house, porch, garage, gate, shed, gazebo, chicken coop or boat shed to be shared with admirers from the road. They are also finding their way inside homes and offices. We have another class to paint a Barn Quilt on May 14th at 2 pm. Click here for more info and to register.
