Last month when Sister was here for my birthday we went to The Mud Peddler Studio in Shepherdstown to celebrate her birthday. She had received a gift certificate to work with the amazing Denise Kupiszewski, pottery artist extraordinaire. We had a great time creating yard art animals. Sister made these terrific fish and I made bunnies. It was so much fun. Denise delivered them yesterday so now they will go to Georgia to sit on some bamboo poles in Sister’s garden by the water. I love them!

The kids did a great job at Sewing Camp making their Rag Quilts. We had two full sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. (I’m sorry I missed two from the morning session in photo.) It kept me running keeping up with all of them but we got them done and I can’t wait to see them after they get them washed and raveled. Great work by a great group of kids! We’ve already had requests for another beginner’s session so there will be one for kids on Sunday, September 26th at 1 pm. Click here to register your young person ages 8- Teens. We even have a session for adults on Saturday September 25th at 1 pm. Click here to register for the adult session. Only two seats left for it.
