This miniature landscape is one I did a few months ago but haven’t had time to post. The canvas measures 4 1/8″x 5″ and the completed size in the frame is 8 1/4″ x 9″. This one is available for $75. SOLD! (Turns out it’s a little bigger than I originally remembered but I am leaving it at the same price I listed in the blog. A bargain for someone!) Just email me if interested at kwalker@kellywalkerstudios.com . Thanks.

This week at our Kid’s Painting class we learned that you don’t always have to use a brush to make a beautiful painting. We used paper towels to create these “Fall Abstract Trees” on watercolor paper.
Aren’t they FABULOUS??!!
And in the last few weeks we have painted Bicycles and the River. If you have a young artist or want-to-be artist ages 7-12 contact Kelly at kwalker@kellywalkerstudios.com to sign them up for class.
“Where the Wild Things Are”

I am excited to be going to a fundraiser this weekend for the Blue Ridge Wildlife Center. (Check out there good work here.) And I was even more thrilled to be invited to donate a “Plein Air Private Session” as an auction item.
The event is going to be held at Oxbow Farm where I have painted in Plein Air many times thanks to the kind owner. This painting is one I did several years ago while out for a day of painting sunflowers. After painting the sunflowers (See it here) I turned around and this was the view. I loved it too. Actually there are no bad views there. It’s beautiful.
