It’s Never Too Late to Finish

A few weeks ago Sonja came back to art class….after a 7 year break! And to her great surprise I still had the canvas she had started working on….and she finished it. It turned out great! To say she came back with fresh eyes is an understatement. LOL Nice work Sonja. Glad you came back.

Kids Paint a Winter Scene

The Kid’s Class started back this Wednesday with a beautiful winter scene. Kids paint at The Studio each Wednesday at 4:15-5:15 pm where we create a nice little painting each week. Kids Make Unique Gifts

At our Kids Make Gifts workshop yesterday these girls made these beautiful gifts. They created two unique gift bags – one with a tree and one with a snowman, a snowman candle holder, a mini Snowflake painting and a painted tin with wreathes. Terrific! And we did it all in an hour and a half! Way to go girls!

VIA Paints Winter

The Virginia International Academy students completed their final painting for this semester. It was a beautiful winter snow scene…and they all did a great job. These young ladies studied composition and color mixing over the past few months.

Santa Kids I don’t often take private Paint Parties on Wednesdays because we have our regular weekly art classes for adults and kids and I don’t like to cancel those classes but because of the big Christmas Paint Party we posted about yesterday (see it here) I had a friend, also a Miss Kelly, come in to teach the kids class…..and they did GREAT! Thanks Kelly. Nice work!
