Painted Barn Quilts

Printmaking with Sandra

20181122_053127.jpgAt yesterday’s Kid’s Class we had a guest instructor, Sandra Charles.  She helped the kids make beautiful prints using Gelli Plates and leaves.  Each student made at least three beautiful creations that they can keep or give as gifts.  Superb work!  Thanks Sandra for the great project.

Bold Expressive Portraits

We had another session of Bold Expressive Portraits yesterday and everyone did beautiful work.  Portraits scare most people but if you approach them with the wild abandon of Expressionism you just can’t go wrong.  What fun!!!!!!!!!!

Print Making at Art of the Carolinas

I’m back in Raleigh for the 2018 Art of the Carolinas and last night I tried something new….Print Making. I took a workshop with Amy Nack, a print maker from Boise, Idaho.  We did Fine Art Nature Printing.  It was fun and very different from anything I have done before.  Fun to try something new.
