Pet Applique in Progress

Rebekah came to Hickory Hill Studio on Sunday to start putting her cute applique blocks together. She also added little name tags to each block. She got these three put together….now just 9 more to go! I can’t wait to see it all together. Nice work girl!

Farmstead Quilt

I just got a couple of quilts back from the longarmer. I was excited to finish this one…made with Moda’s Farmstead panel. It is so cute with all the farm animals. It’s not huge, just 52″x52″ but it is so adorable we wouldn’t be able to stand it if it was bigger. LOL!

Family Painting Together

Last week Dianne brought her grandson Ryan who was visiting for the week to paint with her at class. He did a great job. He had been to The Studio in November of 2022 when he painted a picture of Lincoln. He told me he had that painting hanging in his bedroom at home. Honeymooners Paint

We love it when visitors from out of town schedule time to paint while they are visiting the area. I got a message this week requesting space in Wednesday evenings adult art class. Katie and Jake were visiting….on their honeymoon! They had kayaked on Wednesday morning and took photos, including the two that they used of a turtle on a log and 4 ducks in a row on a rock that they painted Wednesday evening. What a great rememberence of their time in our beautiful area. Congratulations again and enjoy your art!
