This is the painting that I did at the Festival of Leaves last Saturday .  It’s not quite finished but I’ll tweak it a little in a day or two to finish it up.  Thanks to everyone who stopped by Delilah’s during the Festival of Leaves.  It was fun to see everyone.

I love to crochet, especially in the fall and winter when the weather turns cool.  It always reminds me of my grandmothers (Granny and Big Mama)  who both  crocheted and who taught me how.

I have been working on a line of toys for the shop and they are turning out so cute.

A puppy, a monkey, and a kitty…

 A bunny, a bear, a dinosaur….

A better view of the dinosaur and a giraffe.

Several sold at the festival on Saturday but they are so much fun to make I’ll get busy and see what else I can come up with soon.  🙂

I have been working on sweaters for the boys to wear out at the cabin during hunting season.  I worry about them running loose there with all the hunters around.  Last year I put an orange t-shirt on Jed thinking that would work and he came back about 30 minutes later without it.  I never did find that shirt.

So this year I am making crocheted sweaters that fit tight enough that they can’t pull them off.  Here is Lincoln modeling his Hunter Orange sweater.

And here is Jed in a teal one that I made first as a prototype.  I had to play with the pattern to make it fit my long and low dogs.  Now on to make an orange one for Jedder Bean!  (Although he looks so handsome in Teal!)

This is Lincoln’s favorite sleep position.  We were napping….or trying to.   🙂

Lincoln continues to be fascinated by the large Koi fish in the pond at the cabin.  He wades into the water and watches them….and they watch him.

If I am ever unsure of where he’s run off to, I can take a look down in the water and he is often sitting there watching his fish.
