Main St Travel 7 TreesYesterday I spent another couple of hours working on the mural at Main Street Travel.

Now we have trees laid in!  We have selected colors for the chairs so they are next along with some more details and we will have a completed mural.

I spent most of yesterday painting a mural at Main Street Travel.  (You can check out their Facebook page here.)

I enjoy mural painting.  It’s fun to see the client’s vision come to life.  And Ginny is a wonderful person for which to work.  She and I had fun deciding what and where to put it.  You can see from the photos my step by step work yesterday.

 

I got the background in:  sky, ocean and sand.  Today I hope to get the rest done:  palm trees and Adirondack chairs.

Casper Goes on the Wall

This morning I am painting my favorite subject matter – dogs! Casper is a sweet, sweet yellow lab mix that loves us being here. I am working on him this morning then maybe Linda and I will take a break and go on a big garden tour in Charleston this afternoon.

A Shelter Window Mural

A few weeks ago Michele Sommers, Sommers End Originals, and I painted this mural at our the Julia Wagner Animal Shelter here in Warren County.  It turned out great and adds a lot of life to a dull wall there.

We invite other artists to come out and add other animals to the window.  Plus we will be painting a tree on the small wall leading to the cat area and will add cats to that mural.  If you would like to help just get in touch with us.
