Students Complete Works

Dianne and I worked on her mural a few more hours today. You’ll remember the right section….Fall…from a week or so ago. Today we added the Winter scene. It is about 70% finished. We need to add more snow to the trees and a few more limbs. And we plan to add a cardinal in the tree. But because of travel plans we won’t be able to do more for a few weeks so we’ll show you more as we get it done. At this rate we may have it done for her Thanksgiving dinner.

A few weeks ago I got a call from a man from New Jersey looking to set up a private session for he and his wife. They were going to be in the area to celebrate her birthday. We had our session last night and they painted these companion paintings. Great job!!! They have lots of fun things planned for their weekend. Lincoln and I enjoyed getting to know them. I think they enjoyed their evening too.

We kicked off the Capon Springs Art Retreat with some enthusiastic young painters. They have to leave this morning so they wanted to get a painting in last night….and they did! Great job guys!!!! Hope we get to paint together again soon.

These young (ages 5-7) kids did a terrific job painting this little farm as part of our “Land and Sea” Art Camp yesterday. Great work!!!! They’ll be back today to create another fabulous work of art. Our Art Campers continued their “Land and Sea” theme as they painted these beautiful landscapes with a sailboat and lighthouse. Aren’t they terrific? And they paid such good attention that they had time to spare and got in a little “finger” painting. Love them. Hay Bales

Barbara and Jackie’s Hay Bale Landscapes turned out great. I’m sorry I missed getting photos of the other painters. They all look super! And I like that everyone got to choose the size canvas they wanted. We will have to do more of that. Good work ladies!
