Still Crocheting

Jeds Sweater

Worked on a male version of the sweater I made for Mamie.  Here is Jed modeling his new sweater.  I don’t usually dress my dogs when we go out but since we have been going to the dog park every morning early while it’s still cold out I decided they might need something to keep them warm.

I found some coats that belonged to Jed, Lincoln and Mamie’s predecessors and they have been sporting those on the early morning walks.

No painting to post today.  Instead I crocheted this little sweater for Mamie.  She has several hand-me-down jackets from Rosie, the other little Cairn Terrier that I had, but I thought a sweater would be cute for her.

SAMSUNGAnd as an added bonus, I made me a hat to match.  Won’t we be cute together at the dog park?!

I haven’t written out the pattern yet.  I was just winging it but if anyone is interested let me know and I’ll try to put it on paper.

Painting on Tile

For the next few classes the kids are going to paint things that they can give for holiday gifts. This is Logan painting a snowman on a tile. Looks great! If you have a young person who would like to paint with us on Thursdays at 4:15 contact kwalker@doubledogdesigns.com to sign up. We’d love for them to join us.

Lucky

LuckyJust completed this pet portrait commission of Lucky.  It’s an acrylic on canvas measuring 12″x12″.

Contact kwalker@doubledogdesigns.com for a portrait of your pet.

This is Kathy.  She is one of my Wednesday morning students.  And while she’s only been painting for a short time she is doing a fantastic job.  Don’t you think.  She painted this gorgeous fall scene over the last few weeks and made it look great!  Good job Kathy.  Keep it up.

Bench Dedication

The plaques on the benches at the dog park were recently completed.  Here is ours.

(My apologies if you received this post earlier with an upside down photo.  We are having some technical difficulties with our computer.)

A Red Cowl

My neice Morgan asked me to make a loose crocheted red cowl that she can also wear as a hood. Here it is. I’ll ship it off to her and hopefully she will send a photo so we can see it modeled.

Riding around this morning with family members scouting subjects to paint. This would be a good one!

Poor Jed

This is why it’s hard to go away.  What a pitiful face!

Taking a break for the Thanksgiving holidays.  Have a wonderful day with your family and friends.
