We had a great time painting some gorgeous Barn Quilts yesterday at The Studio. And we were delighted to have my 1st Cousin Jennifer visiting from South Georgia. She came all the way up just to paint a Barn Quilt! It looks great and can’t wait to see a photo of it hanging on her pool house. As usual…lots of laughing and fun at The Studio. What a great time these friends from the Northern Virginia area had yesterday as they came together to paint barn quilts and enjoy a day of creating. Nice work everyone!!! Isn’t their work beautiful??!!!

Yesterday we may have had one of the most fun classes ever at The Studio. There was lots of laughing and joking around and the outcome was eight amazing paintings. Thanks everyone for the fun time. You all did great!

The rain did nothing to dampen the spirits of this enthusiastic group of painters as Susie hosted a Barn Quilt Paint Party at her home in Rockland yesterday for her family and friends. It was rainy but look at the bright and beautiful colors these painters chose to paint. Terrific!!!! Nice work all around.

We had great fun at Valley View Farms helping some new painters paint lavender. And they did great! A couple of them had never painted before and they jumped right in and created some wonderful work. Watch for another fun Paint Party to come out at Valley View Farms on Saturday, September 24th. The details will come soon….and it’s going to be sunflowers!

We had a great time with our lavender paintings last night at The Studio. Plus Tricia brought blueberry pie for us to enjoy to complete our purple/blue color theme for the evening. 🙂 A great evening!!!

Beautiful….spectacular….amazing BARN QUILTS!!!! These ladies did lovely work yesterday afternoon at The Studio while the crazy thunderstorm was raging outside. Barn Quilts look great outside on a barn, fence, shed or garage and inside on a wall. If you like quilts or Americana you will love these. Watch for another session soon and join in the fun.
