Joy’s Snowman

Joy painted this adorable little snowman sitting on the sofa From a photo of the little guy. He is so cute and she did a great job painting him. Take a look at the fabulous job Sydney did at her first art class at The Studio. She loves drawing and her grandmother thought she might enjoy painting so to The Studio she came to give it a try. Very nice work! The Studio offers regular weekly art classes every Wednesday from 10:30-Noon and 5:30-7 pm or Thursday from 2-3:30 pm for ages 12-99! Back the Blue Parade

Yesterday evening our little town turned out to support “The Blue”….our local law enforcement community. In light of all that has been happening around our nation I am proud that we live in a community that supports those who are willing to walk into harms way daily to protect citizens. We appreciate them more than they can know. Do something kind today for a member of the law enforcement community. Encourage them….thank them. Support the Blue!

Woodbine Sunflowers

I enjoyed the drive over to Woodbine Farm Market a few weeks ago. The sunflowers were so pretty as was the view. Since so many people locally have enjoyed the sunflowers this year this might be a great one to paint at a party. See photos from the visit here.

One of the most popular events we do at The Studio is Painting Your Pet’s Portrait. It may seem like it would be a difficult task but it’s not. You send your favorite photo of your pet and we’ll sketch it and you come in and paint. We will talk you through it step by step. And it is so much fun to create a fabulous likeness of your beloved pet. Come join us on Saturday, September 19th or Saturday, October 24th and paint your pet! Just click the date to register.
