Final Session with VIA

I had my final session with the Virginia International Academy students yesterday. This group has been such a bright spot for me. They have been receptive to trying new styles and techniques and have made some beautiful art. They told me they are anxious to take it home to China this summer for their families to see. Yesterday they wanted to paint a beach scene so we did a large canvas. Great work!

Farm Girl Birthday Party

Yesterday we celebrated a birthday with a group of young girls…and the birthday girl love farms. She was wearing a “Farm Chick” shirt and boots! So, of course, she wanted to paint a barn. The girls had a great time and created some wonderful art. Nice work!

Kids Paint Mountain Scene

Kids May 9th VIA Yesterday was a busy day at The Studio. First the VIA students painted a beautiful mountain landscape scene that will make a wonderful memory of their time in the Shenandoah Valley. They’ll be leaving soon to go home for the summer and then back to their boarding schools. They’ve been a wonderful group.
