Nothing is more fun than a group of friends painting together. These girls are friends since high school and came from Maryland to meet at the home of a friend for a weekend of fun. We had a terrific time with a group of painters at North Fork Campground and Resort. They also provide an interesting subject for us to paint and this time it was the rails that run by there. Great work everyone. Can’t wait to see what we do next!

For Christmas this past year I gave Allen’s daughter’s family a Paint Party. I thought it would be fun to all paint together….and I was right! We had a great time creating this sunset landscape. And we even got Allen to paint. It was a red-letter night!

We had two terrific groups painting yesterday at The Studio. Our first Saturday paint party (open to all) had us painting a beautiful Sunset scene. And look at what an amazing job everyone did!!!
And then we had a private party to celebrate Katie’s 14th Birthday. They painted amazing abstract style flowers. Everyone got very creative and turned out these lovely pieces. It was so much fun!

Sunset over the Valley, acrylic on canvas, 11″x14″, is one I painted as a demo at the Retreat last week. I think we will be doing it soon as a Paint Party at The Studio.
