I was asked about the process I use in painting one of the ball fields for my Kickstarter Project – Painted Diamonds. So I tried to take photos while I worked on the painting of the Chicago Cubs Wrigley Field to show you the progress. Sometimes I get so involved that I forget to take a picture but you get the idea.

Every artist works differently. I usually start at the top and work in the basic shapes moving toward the subject matter that is closest to the viewer at the end and then go back in to put details. That’s the great thing about painting. There is no right or wrong way as long as the end result makes you happy then you did it just right!
Wrigley is the 4th painting in the series of 30 that I am painting for my Kickstarter Project- Painted Diamonds – where I will be painting every Major League Baseball park before the World Series this year.
