We had a full house yesterday for our Hydrangea Paint Party….and everyone did a beautiful job on their canvases. I missed a few people as they left before I could get the photo. 😦 And we were thrilled to have several new painters with us. We’d love to have you join us at The Studio soon. It was Team Bride at The Studio yesterday as a delightful group of ladies celebrated their friend and family member as she gets ready to get married. They all did an amazing job painting hydrangeas and now all have a wonderful memory of their day together. A paint party is a great way to celebrate!
And of course, Lincoln enjoyed being with the Bride-to-Be!

We have been having a great time painting in this very expressive style. And yesterday we had a group give it a try at The Studio. They turned out GREAT! Beautiful work by Katrinka, Denise and Debbie. Can’t wait till we do the next one. Watch for a January date.

Yesterday it was hydrangeas that I painted using the knife. Â (This one is SOLD!) I am loving this method. Â Can’t wait to get home and really spread out and do some of these on larger canvas. Â We leave today after having a really great time at Art of the Carolinas. Â I have two friends who came with me and they have had some interesting classes as well. Â It is so much fun to be the student for a change!

One of my favorite Paint Party students,  Liz, set up a private  party for her support group and friends on Monday.  They painted hydrangeas.  Many of them had never painted before…and they loved it….and did GREAT!  Good job everyone.
