Art Campers – ages 5-6 Paint Shenandoah National Park

Yesterday our little art campers (and I mean little-ages 5-6) painted the entrance to the Shenandoah National Park. These little ones did a great job! You can see more detail in the painting with Daisy’s framed piece.

Our art campers did an amazing thing yesterday. They painted this wonderful copy of Edward Hopper’s Automat. Their versions are 18″x24″ and they did this in just 3 hours. Aren’t they fabulous???!!!

Warhol’s Shoes at Art Camp
Art Camp this session is featuring post-impressionism. Yesterday we talked about Andy Warhol and painted two of his famous illustrated shoes from the 1950’s.

Yesterday our young artists studied Edward Hopper and we recreated one of his most famous paintings – Nighthawks.

Our Summer Art Camp got underway yesterday. We studied and made a color wheel and painted a piece of art to get used to our equipment and paints.
