You are a wonderful, train chasing, sweet Jedder Bean and we love you!

Logo The Studio Color Final I am so excited that today I will have the first Paint Party at the new business – The Studio-A Place for Learning.   I decided to open The Studio to provide opportunities for people to explore fine arts, crafts and other areas of personal development in a casual and recreational environment.

Classes and workshops will be offered for a variety of skill levels ranging from the absolute beginner exploring a new craft to the experienced and seasoned artist or craftsman.  The Studio is available for people of all abilities to explore and create.

The studio space is available for rent for small groups whether for workshops, classes or parties at a very reasonable rate.  Our ultimate goal is to help people overcome potential fears and discover their innate creativity by trying something new.

The full schedule for August classes and workshops will be published soon.  I hope you will come and learn something new or improve on a skill you already have.

Pet Portrait Demonstration at the Library

Pet Portrait Demonstration at the Library

Last week I was asked to present a demonstration of a pet portrait at Samuel Public Library Summer Reading program.  Their theme this summer is pets so my work fit in nicely.   It was fun to paint the demo piece while talking about being a full-time artist.  I really enjoy doing this type of presentation.
