Fun with Collage

Yesterday at Sophia’s private lesson we had fun with something different – collage!  We did these great little paper collage dogs.  It was lots of fun.  Here is  Sophia with her really cute piece and a close-up of mine.  Great work girl!!!!

And here is a couple of photos of Sophia and Joey with their work from the last several weeks.  They are creating some beautiful works of art!

Last Session of Art Camp Begins Monday

Flip Flops

Fun Sun Catchers

Huge Sale on Art at The Studio

Fields of Lavender Paintings I just completed this week.  Both are part of the HUGE SALE going on right now at The Studio until the end of July.

All  original art is 35-50% off.  Two reasons for the sale. 1) We are making way for new pieces to be hung when I return from knee surgery.  2)  Since I’ll be out of commission for two weeks this is a way to off-set the loss of income.  (It’s tough when bills still need to be paid. Lots of Butterflies

Van Gogh’s Flowers

Camp 5 Day 4 Van Gogh 1We wrapped up this session of Art Camp with a lovely, large painting of Van Gogh’s “Vase with Carnation and other Flowers”, originally painted in 1886.  This is one you don’t see very often but it’s lovely and the kids did an outstanding job on this one.

Kids Art Camp & Art Class

Art Campers painted like Matisse yesterday.  We did this beautiful interior painting.  Nice work girls.

Then the Kids Class in the afternoon painted lavender fields.  Beautiful!
