We have such fun painting in our adult art classes on Wednesdays and Thursdays at The Studio. Everyone begins at whatever stage they happen to be in the process from absolute beginners to advanced. They select their own subjects to paint and we help them get to a nice finished product. Kate painted this beautiful version of a dancer and Wanda did this marvelous rendition of her grandson leading her favorite Llama. Perfect ladies! Today was Frida Kahlo’s birthday. An interesting Mexican artist working in a Folk style. 
Lauren just completed this beautiful painting of her daughter and nephew checking out the pond at Shenandoah River State Park recently. It’s terrific. Nice work Lauren. Why not join us at one of our Adult Art classes and paint your own masterpiece? 
Yesterday our young Art Campers wrapped up their session by painting Henri Rousseau’s “The Rabbit’s Meal” from 1908. Great work everyone!!!!
Yesterday we started a new session of Art Camp with young artists learning about post-impressionism. We painted Van Gogh’s Three Sunflowers. Nice! We still have several sessions of art camp coming up this summer for ages 5-7 and 8-13. 
This past week at Kid’s Class we painted flags. We are prepping for the 4th of July. We are taking a break from our weekly Kids classes during July and we will resume on August 1st. If you have kids that want to paint check out the

We painted a canvas to celebrate Independence Day last night at The Studio. Nice work by everyone!
The young painters did a fabulous job painting like Warhol as they did a “masterpiece” featuring two of Warhol’s Shoes. We don’t often have a class full of girls so we took advantage and painted shoes. Each girls chose the colors they preferred. Beautiful!!!
Yesterday we talked about Andy Warhol and the kinds of works he produced. The kids created these beautiful Warhol Butterflies. Great work girls! For anyone with young painters
