We had another Stacked Garden Pole class yesterday and here is Teresa’s beautiful Squirrel pole. I hope to get photos from the others soon to share. Watch for another version of the Garden Pole coming soon.

I enjoyed the drive over to Woodbine Farm Market a few weeks ago. The sunflowers were so pretty as was the view. Since so many people locally have enjoyed the sunflowers this year this might be a great one to paint at a party. See photos from the visit here.

One of the most popular events we do at The Studio is Painting Your Pet’s Portrait. It may seem like it would be a difficult task but it’s not. You send your favorite photo of your pet and we’ll sketch it and you come in and paint. We will talk you through it step by step. And it is so much fun to create a fabulous likeness of your beloved pet. Come join us on Saturday, September 19th or Saturday, October 24th and paint your pet! Just click the date to register.

It’s time to think Pumpkins and Sunflowers. You will have your choice of two dates to paint this one…Friday, September 25th or Saturday, September 26th. Just select your date at registration check-out by clicking here.

We painted our version of Proctor-Biggs Mill….or the Main Street Mill as it is now known. Lots of fun doing this one. Great work everyone!!!!

We had such a great time yesterday at the “Cut Paper Floral” class. Everyone created beautiful works of art while we laughed and joked and had a fabulous time. If you aren’t coming to The Studio to create something wonderful you are missing out. Click here to see what we have coming up and to register.

Sunflower Field

Had a terrific visit to a sunflower field yesterday to get some photos for painting and pick some flowers for photos for a still life. It was fun!

Let’s paint a beautiful Sunflower Field…..this Paint Party will be on Thursday, September 10th at 6 pm. And the best part is we will do it on a 5″x7″ canvas and frame it too. So you’ll go home with a lovely framed work of art. Be sure to click here and register soon as space is limited during the pandemic so register early.

I recently ran across an old card that was stamped with flowers like these. I loved the overlapped look and thought they would look good on canvas. This painting is 20″x20″….but I think it would work any size…and any color!
