Yesterday afternoon Lincoln and I walked along Happy Creek. We also took a look at the monument that was placed in memory of the Warren County families and landowners displaced to form Shenandoah National Park. It’s a very nice memorial and beautifully placed by the creek. And, of course, Lincoln enjoyed the “sniffs” along the creek bank.

Terri has been coming to The Studio for some time now to paint pets….and she has a LOT! She is painting each one that she has or has had to hang as a grouping. This is the one she did on Friday at Open Studio. They are turning out great! Can’t wait to see the “Portrait Wall” she is creating.

Yesterday evening our little town turned out to support “The Blue”….our local law enforcement community. In light of all that has been happening around our nation I am proud that we live in a community that supports those who are willing to walk into harms way daily to protect citizens. We appreciate them more than they can know. Do something kind today for a member of the law enforcement community. Encourage them….thank them. Support the Blue!
