We had a really fun Paint Party at North Fork Resort and Campground last night. We painted the wonderful view of the Shenandoah River that they see right there at the North Fork of the river.
Everyone did a GREAT job! Can’t wait to paint with this group again. Thanks Patty for setting this up.

Yesterday I helped a delightful group of women from the Conservation Research Center paint their pets. And paint they did! Each one did a fabulous job painting their dogs and cats. They look great.
They said they will be back soon to paint some of the wonderful animals they work with at the CRC. Can’t wait for that!

This painting I did as a sample for an upcoming private Paint Party. I did two versions, one a little darker than the other. Later I took the cloud out of the 2nd one to show options. I will have to share a photo of that tomorrow as I forgot to take a photo.

Famous Painters Night-O’Keeffe Poppy
Last night was the first Famous Painters Party at The Studio. We are planning to meet once a month to recreate a famous painting by some of our favorite artists. Last night it was Georgia O’Keeffe’s Red Poppy. Everyone did a wonderful job. They look terrific.
Next month we will meet on September 29th and it will be Van Gogh Sunflowers! Plan to join us. Registration info will be posted soon.

Fundraiser Paint Party

We had a fabulous Paint Party yesterday as a fundraiser for the Warren Memorial Hospital Team participating in the Humane Society Dragon Boat Race coming up next weekend. This is a big fundraising event for our shelter and the hospital team is enthusiastic and ready to go.
These ladies painted wonderful barns with flags. They were all just beautiful! Great job painting ladies and great job supporting a good cause!
