A delightful group of co-workers from the Phoenix Project came to The Studio Friday to paint this lovely fence scene. Lots of laughter and fun. And a really great job by all!

Yesterday afternoon we had a large group of painters who were game to learn a new medium. They came to The Studio with open minds and did a great job working with gouache on paper. Beautiful work and good for you all for giving something new a try!

We love seeing big rolls of hay out in the pastures. Makes me wish we had one of these balers instead of the smaller square ones that we had on the farm I grew up on. It always makes me think of the hard, hot work of loading those square bales on the trailer and then unloading them in the barn. Really hard and hot sticky work.
