20180328_231506.jpg Last week’s Kids Class painted canvas tote bags.  It’s fun to have the kids paint things other than pictures to hang.  They had a great time making these.  We have Kid’s Class every Wednesday at 4:15 – 5:15 at The Studio for ages 5-12.  Contact kwalker@kellywalkerstudios.com to register your young artist.

Gem’s Bee Box

While working on a design for a Paint Party I had a little help.  Little Gem was staying with me for a day and night while her people were away so she went to The Studio and helped me paint.  And since Gem did such a great job on this one we named it for her.  Now you can come paint Gem’s Bee Box too.  Click here and join us on April 19th.

Card Making

This weekend we had our first Card Making Classes at The Studio with Kathy Atherton, a long time stamper.  We are tickled to have her at The Studio.  Each month she is going to offer 5 different designs and we’ll make 2 of each.  I gave it a try Saturday morning and has such a great time!  Here’s mine.  Click here to see next month’s classes here for Friday and here for Saturday.

Summer Art Camp Announced

The schedule for the 2018 Summer Art Camp was announced yesterday featuring a few new sessions.  New this summer, we will be offering one session at Lord Fairfax Community College as well as a Sewing Camp for teenagers at The Studio.  All of this along with our very popular sessions of Impressionism, Post-impressionism, Modern art and Local scenes.  There is something for every young artist ages 5-18.  You can see the entire schedule here.  Or you can print out the schedule and registration form here. Flyer for Kids Summer Art Camp 2018
