A Brand New Look!

Header Life at The StudioFor over eight years this has been “Life of a Daily Painter” blog where I have shared the things I have painted or made each day.  Well, for the last year and a half since we opened The Studio on Main Street in Front Royal I have been sharing what we all have created there.  It has been exciting to show off the wonderful art and crafts made by people who come to The Studio.

It was time to make a change with my blog to reflect the changes that have occurred in my “Daily Painting” life.

Now we will be “Life at The Studio”!  We will continue in basically the same way but we will share more information about what we are creating at The Studio as well as what this daily painter is doing.  We hope you will enjoy this change.

The web address lifeofadailypainter.com will continue to work and we will add lifeatthestudio.com so that either will bring you to “The Studio”.  Other small changes will occur to the look during the next month.  We hope you will continue to follow along.  Thanks so much for your continued support!

My Mama

Today would have been my mom’s 74th birthday.  We lost her in 1994 to cancer at the young age of 53.

I think about that a lot.

She taught Kindergarten and loved it.  She also love arts and crafts.  I think so much about how she would LOVE The Studio and what we are doing there.  I wish she could have seen it.

She was such a beautiful person and I still miss her everyday.  Happy Birthday Mama.

We’ll still provide photos and features of what we have been painting and creating but we will link it more with The Studio…which is what we have been doing since we opened The Studio a year and a half ago.  We love featuring the painters and students from The Studio and you have said you love seeing what everyone is doing so this will help.

Remember, CHANGE IS GOOD!
