Friends from elementary school came together at The Studio yesterday to celebrate the holidays and friendship. We LOVE it when this happens and we get to be a part of it. Thanks Dianne, pictured in the middle, for sharing your friends with us. You remember her from the huge mural project recently (see it here).

Barbara contacted me several weeks ago to see if I would set up a private party the day after Thanksgiving for her family and friends. Of course I would! I love private parties and it’s a wonderful way to spend time with family and friends and they get to take something home with them to remember the time spent together for a long time to come. Everyone had so much fun and were so supportive of one another. They did a fabulous job painting this winter barn scene. Great work everyone! I hope we get to paint together again soon. Loretta loves trying new things. She just started painting with us at The Studio a few months ago. She loves to paint BIG and is up for trying every new thing. The past two weeks she created this abstract landscape piece with a palette knife. Great job Loretta. I got an email from Deb a few weeks ago. She told me she had retired and wanted to learn to paint. She came to her first class at The Studio last week and yesterday she completed her first painting.
